"1969 Chevelles were billed as "America's most popular mid-size car." They showed only minor changes for 1969, led by revised front-end styling. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. Taillight lenses were larger and more vertical, flowing into the quarter panels. Front vent windows began to fade away now that Astro Ventilation was sending outside air into several Chevelle models."

This example is a beautiful professional restoration of an original Chevelle SS with some high performance modifications completed in 2006.  Please let all the pictures load (there are over 120) to see the awesome condition of the Classic Chevrolet muscle car.  Laser straight body, along with mirror finish paint, this is one of the few cars that actually looks better in person than in the pictures.  According to the owner (a current major league baseball player), this car started life as a standard (Olympic Gold) Chevelle SS with a V-8 engine. The engine is an early 70's 454 big block V-8, the transmission is a 700R4 automatic with a 12 bolt rear, 3.73 gears and positraction.  It has power steering and power disc brakes.  The car was professionally repainted black,  the bumpers were re-chromed and all new exterior emblems were installed, the undercarriage is solid, clean and dry. Rounding out the package are some great looking 15" SS wheels with BF Goodrich radial T/A tires.  We don't know everything that was done during the restoration, the following is what we do know;
