"The 1969 Camaro carried over the previous year's drive train and major mechanical components, but all-new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, gave the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a heavy "V" cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider, more aggressive look. This styling would serve for the 1969 model year only. Collectors often debate the merits of smooth, rounded lines of 1967 and 1968 model versus the heavily creased and sportier looks of the 1969, but the '69 remains the most sought after."
This beautiful example is not your average '69 Camaro! From a custom leather interior with power windows, to an air ride suspension and a nitros oxide system, this car was restored to show quality standards with many modern upgrades, and is absolutely stunning! According to the current owner, it had a frame off, rotisserie restoration, completed in 2006 and driven only 450 miles since. The body, paint, trim, interior and undercarriage were all beautifully done. The 350 Chevy crate engine puts out over 400 H.P. and is mated to a turbo 400 automatic transmission. It has custom Flowmaster mufflers with dual exhaust and the car rides, handles and sounds awesome! We have had some beautiful '69 Camaros over the last few years, none as nice as this one!
