With only 3,000 miles since completion, this beautiful example is not your average Chevy Bel Air! Body off restored in the late '90's and updated in 2007, it is absolutely stunning! Please let all the pictures load (there are over 70) to see the outstanding condition of this classic Chevy! According to the current owner, this car had a frame off restoration completed in 1998 with all systems meticulously restored to new condition. The body was dismantled and media blasted in 2007 and all sheet metal was epoxy primed before the Corvette Monterey Red Metallic paint was applied. The interior is all new! The undercarriage is extremely solid, clean and dry. The power plant is a 355 Chevy engine with Dart II heads and roller rockers. The transmission is a Tremec TKO 5-speed with overdrive. The car rides, handles and looks terrific and all features except as stated below are fully operational. This is one fine Bel Air and I would not hesitate to drive anywhere! We have some receipts for the restoration, they will be included in the sale.
Please remember that this car is 48 years old and not perfect. The clock, in dash temperature gauge and cigarette lighter are inoperable.
