By the time the 1969 Camaros were introduced, they had moved quickly up the learning curve and had style and power. Among the new power options was a Z/28 package. Known officially as the RPO Z28 Camaro Special Performance Package, it included a special 302 cubic inch V8 with an estimated horsepower rating of 350 and an official rating of 290, dual exhausts, special front and rear suspension, heavy-duty radiator and temperature-controlled fan, quick ratio steering, and 15 x 7-inch Rally wheels. A four-speed manual transmission and power disc brakes were additional mandatory options, while a Posi-Traction rear axle was recommended. Top speed was estimated at 120 mph.

This is a quite rare car with the 396/350HP engine and factory air. Professionally body off restored top to bottom, completed in 2007 and driven only 1,100 miles since, this Camaro was finished with the best of everything! This is an RS/SS 396/350HP car! The original 396 big block engine has been completely rebuilt with some high performance upgrades. The car has a show quality repaint in the original (76) Daytona Yellow. The deluxe interior has been redone with the correct (713) Black Houndstooth buckets. The undercarriage has been redone to as new condition. All lights, gauges, signals, heater, air conditioning, clock, radio, wipers, windows, even the hide away head lamp doors are fully operational. The car rides, handles, sounds and looks terrific, probably better than when new! It has has been serviced, detailed and is ready for a new owner. We have a 2 inch thick folder with receipts totaling over $27,000.00, some photos of the restoration and a can of touch up paint that will be included in the sale.
There are a few pictures of the passenger side interior that show what looks like over spray on the door weatherstripping. There is NO OVER SPRAY! What you see is a reflection, the paint job is SHOW QUALITY!
There are a few pictures of the hood and trunk that show a more pale yellow because of the angle and lighting, the true color is as you see in most of the photos.
Please remember that this car is 41 years and not perfect. There is no choke, so the car is a little hard to start when cold.
